    <p>Dear all,</p>

    <p>There will be no meeting for the first experiment on 8/23, 8/30

      and 9/6. We will resume our regular weekly meeting on 9/13.<br>

      <br>

      During these coming weeks we will focus on:</p>

    <ol>

      <li>Implementation of the correct beamline: beam pipe &

        shielding from the CAD model, including additional optimization

        where it is still possible.  There will be focused meeting on

        this topic together with the engineers on  8/24. <br>

      </li>

      <li>Determine the operating solenoid field for the first

        experiment to maximize science taking into account luminosity,

        acceptance and resolutions.</li>

      <li>Producing new CLAS12 GEMC release by 9/13<br>

      </li>

      <li>Producing new CLAS12 CoatJava release, improved event

        reconstruction and event builder, by  9/13.<br>

      </li>

      <li>Finalizing the calibration procedures using calibration

        challenge and KPP data by 9/13</li>

      <li>Final data processing of KPP data by 9/13<br>

      </li>

      <li>Preparation of the review: draft agenda produced and will be

        finalized and distributed on 8/24.</li>

      <li>Preparation of the Pre-brief material as well as draft

        presentation for the CLAS12 Ready for Science Review. the

        material is due to be posted on 9/20</li>

    </ol>

    <p>The CLAS12 Ready for Science Review is scheduled for 9/24 &

      9/25</p>
