Steve (PD) gave us an update this morning at the MCC meeting. If you read somewhere in the logbook that the beam might be back in four hours around noon — it won’t happen. The best case scenario would be sometime during the swing shift when we could expect beam to back. The network issue is nearly resolved. However, there are a lot of remaining items the accelerator team needs to address before they can deliver beam.<br>

This gives us an opportunity for Hall Access if anyone needs it. Please let PDL and me know if you do need it.<br>
<br>
Additionally, if anyone needs special runs that do not need beam, such as cosmic runs, LED runs, calibration runs, please let me and the shift leader know.<br>
<br>
Realistically, we have about two days of data taking left if all goes well. Therefore, we must have a meeting today at 3pm to discuss the remaining plans.<br>
