Production data taking has continued with a few glitches during day and swing shift yesterday due, first, to a network switch that provides connection to sector 6 FC high voltage and that had to be power cycled and, second, to DAQ issues. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">A more serious issues has arisen in the last 12 hours in relation to the Torus VCL temperature (see <a href="https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3616419" class="">https://logbooks.jlab.org/entry/3616419</a>) that will require intervention from the magnet group to replace a blown fuse on a heater. Rubin has been monitoring the situation and will come in shortly to replace the fuse. In the meantime, he recommended to ramp the Torus current down to reduce the helium flow and the probability of ice build-up. We plan to go back to production conditions as soon as the heater functionality will be restored.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Tomorrow there will be beam studies starting probably at 8:30am and continuing for about half of the day shift. According to the last information from the PD these beam studies may not be invasive to us.
