[Clas12_photon] fiber

Hi
Couldn’t meet this morning but I think decisions as to the fiber are now on the critical path.  I have submitted to our purchasing dept. a request to buy fibers.  I think we should simply spec the fiber a la Kurraray.  To this I have attached the spec document we expect to use.

Remember that this is a two step process: fiber purchase and fusing.   There may be some complications if JMU doesn’t have enough money.  We are purchasing boards, fiber, fusing.   So if it would be better to break up the orders in a specific way then let me know. If for example Glasgow has some money would they prefer to buy the fiber?

In any case I will try to get this into the JMU purchase stream ASAP and we can discuss whether or not to proceed later.
