Dear RGK collaborators,

please find in attachment the message sent yesterday to the software
people interested in the implementation of the start-time correction for
events with electrons in the FT.

We did not receive a reply yet, but in today's software meeting the item
was included among the high priority ones in Nathan's to do list.

All the best

Lucilla and Annalisa

Dear Raffaella, Veronique and Nathan,

As already anticipated we are working on the implementation of a version
of event the start time calculated from the FT information for events
that do not have an electron in CLAS.

Please find in attachment the latest results for both simulated data
(from the K Lambda electro-production channel) at 7.5 GeV and for a well
calibrated run 4013 - skimmed for two forward opposite charged particles
and one positive central charged particle and the electron in the FT.\

As you can see the impact on the particle ID is relevant, especially for
the positive tracks, both for forward and central particles.

We believe it would be important to use this kind of corrections for
events with no electrons in CLAS to attribute the correct particle ID in
the EB, at the time of runs cooking.

Should you think that more tests are needed we are ready to perform them.

Do you think it would be a good idea to present this studies at the next
software meeting?

All the best

Lucilla and Annalisa
