Hi Ken,
Up to my knowledge, for the first time I see perhaps the N* contribution in mass range from 1.9 GeV to 2.0 GeV as the resonance-like peak in the W-distribution in run 5886, while in 5893 this structure is also seen, but less pronounced.
Your results are exciting!
Best Regards,
Victor

Subject: [clas12_rgk] comparison of old/new cooking
Dear rgk people,
Attached are two plots, one showing the W distribution for the events in the skim8_ep train for a file from the old (v2) and new (v7) cooking. It’s not the same file in both cases (run 5886 for v2, and run 5893 for v7) but these data were taken under the same conditions. I also plotted the missing mass for final state e’p’pi+ pi-.
What I see from these plots is improved resolution. It’s hard to tell from just one file, but it appears that the new cooking has better resolution.
Best regards,
ken
