 Thank you very much for the very interesting results!


Looking into your results once more, I got the following question. When you employed the \Delta\beta cut in the slide # 6, the statistics falls down by more then factor of four in comparison with the default PID in slide #5.  Your \Delta\beta cut is from -0.05 to 0.05.  According to the results in the slide #4 within this \Delta\beta range we have >90 % of protons, >90 %  pi^-, and >70% pi^+. Why when we select events in the aforementioned range of \Delta\beta, the statistics falls down by more then factor of four?
