Dear Annalisa,
following up on Raffaella's announcement, I want to start with RG-K, and
ask parameters you would like to have in the planned CCDB table named
/runcontrol/beam. Please refer to the email below for details.
Thanks®ards,
Su.

Dear RGs Analysis Coordinator,
in recent software meetings, it was agreed to create a new CCDB table in
the /runcontrol directory to store beam-related information.
The motivation is to store and make available to analyzers information
that may vary run by run and that is not stored in a systematically
consistent way across data sets and is not programmatically accessible.
Examples are:
- the beam polarization value and uncertainty that should be used in the
analysis of a data set based on the results of the Moeller measurements;
- the beam energy if found to be different from the one reported during
data taking.
To give the maximum flexibility, the CCDB table, named /runcontrol/beam,
would have 25 rows, to store up to 25 parameters, and 6 columns to store
for each parameter:
- 3 integer identifiers,
- a name, defined as a string,
- a value defined as a double,
- the associated uncertainty, again as a double.
Rows that not necessary will be filled with zeroes and empty strings.
Each Run Group is encouraged to exploit this table to store beam
parameters that are relevant for the analysis its data. To facilitate
the process of collecting the information and uploading it to CCDB,
Susan (in cc) has kindly agreed to work with you to defined the list of
parameters for your data and collect the values for the relevant run ranges.
Susan will be contacting you in the near future to start this work.
Let us know if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.
Best regards,
Raffaella
