Please take a look separately at the 3rd-pass and 4th-pass files that have been reconstructed using the defined set of physics trains. Prepare a slide or two (not more) for Annalisa to present at the review. The files are located at: 3rd pass: /volatile/clas12/rg-k/production/recon/spring2024/3p/dst/train 4th pass: /volatile/clas12/rg-k/production/recon/spring2024/4p/dst/train I am expecting relatively quick turn-around from folks on this exercise. The content should be some final state reconstruction plots for your reaction of interest and some low-level physics analysis checks to be able to demonstrate the quality of the data for the review committee. If you have any questions let me know. Regards, Daniel *************************************************************************** * * Dr. Daniel S. We are ready to increase and eventually complete our assigned PAC days. We have also learned that in FY27 Hall A is expected to run the MOLLER experiment (possibly starting in the second half of the beam period), which requires very high beam polarization with high-rate polarization change. This may have an impact on the magnitude of the polarization possible in Hall B (and, possibly, on the correct reconstruction of the beam polarization in our DAQ). Since we understand that RG-E is not sensitive to the beam polarization, it would beneficial for us to run in the first half of the beam before before MOLLER so we can ensure that we maximize the RG-K beam polarization. I am not sure where the information came from that M?ller will start running in the second half of the beam period. There is no official schedule yet, and at the M?ller ERR in August it was indicated that the M?ller KPP would take place in January 2027. This would require that the injector be configured for M?ller polarization at that time. I will keep your request to run first in mind, but I want to retain flexibility, as the detailed schedule may require a different arrangement.
