[clas12_rgk] [EXTERNAL] RG-K train final optimization - March 9 2026 deadline

Dear All,

as agreed during the last RG-K meeting we are aiming at finalizing the 
RG-K wagons to be processed during the upcoming spring 2024 data cooking.

The following wagons have been assessed:

skim4

	

TCS Wagon

skim5

	

Pi0PWagon

skim6

	

ElastWagon

skim7

	

K+ K- p (ϕ)

skim8

	

KpKpWagon

skim16

	

DVCS

skim18

	

DVπ0p

skim21

	

eK+


Corresponding to a total of fraction of the original DST files as follows:

  * 12.9 % for 3passes (6.5 GeV)
  * 9.7 % for 4 passes  (8.5 GeV)

The following three skims:

skim1

	

SIDIS

skim3

	

Lambda Wagon

skim29

	

π+π-p

Produce too large skimmed files to be included in the set of wagons to 
be cooked.

I have agreed with Harut to modify the SIDIS skim with an additional cut 
on W>1.8 GeV.

I would kindly ask the MSU group to check if the skim30 would work for 
their needs or to produce a new skim. This would cut the output size by 
more than a factor 2.

I would also ask Veronique to work on the Lamda Wagon.

The deadline for the assessment is March 9th.
