Dear Annalisa and all,

We had a brief meeting today. We decided to begin the analysis on RG-K
data more systematically.

RG-K data are very good for a number of projects that we need to do in
order to understand tracking efficiencies, normalization, acceptances, etc.

- We should begin with the selection of "good runs" as was done for
RG-A. It shouldn't be a big effort as RG-K didn't have many different
configurations such as magnetic fields, triggers, etc.

- Latifa + 1 postdoc/student (Lucilla?)

- Tracking efficiencies - We will be using simulations and low
luminosity runs from 7.5 and from 6.5 GeV data and merge them with
random triggered events taken at different beam current. - Josh already
started with the 6.5 GeV simulation of elastic data to merge them with
random triggered events at various beam currents. He will then move to
using exclusive processes analyzed from low luminosity runs and merge
them with random triggered events to understand combined effects on
specific processes that are part of the RG-K program.

- We need to define what we want to present at the collaboration meeting
in March. Suggestions were made to use one good run and extract yields
of inclusive epX, exclusive epi+n. Who will do what? Daniel already did
some study on K-Lambda/Sigma.

- We need to prepare a short document showing our near term goals on
what physics we might be able to extract with the data we have taken so
far. The integrated luminosity of the RG-K should be comparable to the 6
GeV runs with CLAS, even much larger at lower Q2. Latifa and Daniel
volunteered to prepare a draft of the document and send it around early
next week to RG-K. We need to define our priorities and present these to
software management so they can be put into the global plan.

- For data processing Francois had already volunteered to be the chef
for RG-K cooking.
