Dear Latifa,

thank you for your message and for the proposal.

The content of the message was shared today at the RGK meeting
all participants agreed that the proposed path is the most
efficient one.

We need to follow the calibration steps closely and make sure
that all the calibrators are aware of what needs to be done.

Please let us know the outcome of the meeting with Stepan.

Dear Annalisa and Volker

Please find here the update on calibrations data processing in
coordination with RGA.

The current release:The FD is the best it can be although we
still do not know the tracking efficiency and the CD improvement
are still in progress with new release scheduled for the end of
January.

RGA is moving with the calibrations of the FD of the following
runs and as soon as we have new release for CD we will proceed
with CD calibrations
We need all these configurations in order to validate the software and prepare for pass1 review in mid February. In doing so we will have the RGK initial calibration completed.
The new software and alignment required new determination of the beam offset first before proceeding with the sequence of calibrations. So the RGK runs are being calibrated for beam offset now then will be followed by FTOF calibration next week etc.
In preparation for pass1 Review I am meeting with Stepan (Chair of the Committee) this morning to decide on the required/work/documentation so I suggest that we work together on both RGA and RGK that will save us a lot of overhear and time this way RGK can go shortly after RGA for pass1 review, please let me know what you think.
Important Note: Josh has to have his thesis completed by this summer 2020. So I am requesting a coordinate effort in order to process RK as soon as possible.
Best regards,
Latifa
