[Clas12_rich] RICH electronics

Somehow the numbers don't match up.
CAEN = 8U
HV distribution = 6U
LV distribution = 2U
VXS crate = 11U
Fiber panel = 1U
All together = 28U and you assumed 24U of free space.
We don't need two VXS crates. If it is just 5 SSP boards per RICH one crate can accommodate readout for 3 RICH detectors.
Then the layout can be C3-4: slow controls. C3-5: RICH1 CAEN and HV/LV distribution, C3-6: VXS crate for both RICH1 and RICH2, C3-7 RICH2 CAEN and HV/LV distribution. I assume RICH1 is sector 3 and RICH2 is sector 2, correct?
To estimate the cable length I need to know the location of the patch panels on the detector box. This would define the routing.
