There is no reason to try squeezing everything in one rack. </div><div>VXS crate and fiber distribution box will have to go to different rack. Either C3-6 or may be on level 2. I am waiting for RICH box drawing to see the location of the patch panels to find optimal routing for cables and fibers.</div><div>As Matteo pointed out in the last message 4U fiber distribution panel accommodate 2 RICH detectors.</div><div>It also might be possible to mount HV distribution boxes vertically under existing CAEN crates. We have some of our distribution boxes mounted that way. </div><div>Anyways, I don't see a problem with location of RICH1 CAEN crate and HV distribution. font-size: 12pt;">However, it looks like it will be a lot tighter fit for the first RICH sector's electronics in rack C3-5 since there is only 23U available. Regarding this:</span></p><ol><li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size: 12pt;">Would it be possible to drop the existing HV supply in C3-5 down a few U to make space?</span></li><li><span style="font-family: Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size: 12pt;" data-mce-style="font-family: Times New Roman,Times,serif; font-size: 12pt;">Matteo had mentioned that the Fiber distribution might be able go behind the VXS crate.
