     -Any remaining CLAS6 Centos6 issues?
The conversion of the Physics data analysis systems from CentOS 5.3 to
6.2 is scheduled to be complete by September 30, the end of FY13.
IT and the Physics computing coordinators have worked together to set
the timeframe and resolve any issues, including Dennis Weygand for
CLAS. We currently know of no issues with software working correctly
on CentOS 6.2.   The 2012 Sandy Bridge farm nodes required an updated
kernel, thus the move to CentOS 6.2. The update announcement was first
made at that time, allowing users a full year to move to 6.2. The
newest farm nodes are now procured and are due to arrive in September,
and will also run CentOS 6.2.
The oldest farm systems from 2008/2009 are running the 5.3 operating
system, with ifarml64.jlab.org (ifarm1101.jlab.org) as the front-end;
the 2008 nodes will go away to make room when the newest nodes arrive.
The 2010 and 2011 nodes have all been upgraded to 6.2, with the
interactive user system ifarm.jlab.org (ifarm1102.jlab.org).
Please let Dennis know specifics if the code your group uses cannot be
recompiled in the current environment, so that we can address any issues.
