[Mac Mestayer]

Hello all;

Here are my minutes from today's meeting.

NEW VERSION OF USER_ANA:
- Nikolai Pivnyuk has been having problems running batch
jobs with user_ana.  Will Phelps (the CLAS librarian) will
release a new version in a test area.  A few people will
be designated as 'testers' of the code.  If they report
that all is ok within a couple of weeks, the new code will
be official.  If it's not ok, back to the drawing boards.
If the testers don't do anything, we don't do anything.

TRACKING REPORT:
Veronique reported on the status of TRAC.  She has re-structured
some of the objects; for example, she pulled fitting methods
up their own separate level.  She is also including drift times
in the dc-tracking.  She will be ready for a code review in a
few weeks.

NEW VERSIONS OF CODE:
Vardan began the discussion by announcing that he will be updating
to CLARA 3.0; he also wants us to update JAVIS and cmsg, so he
suggests we go from jevio 4.1 to 4.3.

There ensued a long discussion about how to keep libraries up to date
without unintended duplications.  Veronique, Dave, Gagik and others
will come up with a method.

There was consensus that we upgrade to Java-1.7.

TRAC - ced INTERFACE:
Veronique will define some tracking evio banks for ced to display.
We will start by using a file interface, and then later use a
service to service interface.  The intention is to see details
of tracking: e.g. circles around wires indication distance of closest
approach; straight lines representing segment fits, etc.

TAG/NUM SCHEME:
Veronique will distribute our present plan for assignment of
"tag's" and "nums" to different reconstruction groups.

DOCUMENTATION:
Gagik presented a plan to have a unified source of documentation
on our code.  He broke the topic into 6 areas with 6 responsible
people to write the documentation:
i/o - Gagik; "sandbox" - Sebastian; gemc - Maurizio; database - Johann;
calibrations - Gagik; and reconstruction - Veronique.

OUTSIDE INPUT:
Volker suggested that Veronique request a short written report from
our outside participants: what they've accomplished, problems encountered,
etc.
