Hello all;

Here are the minutes of today's meeting:

-COMMON TOOLS:
 	- Sergey will define the raw data I/O format; he
wants use "crate,slot,channel" as the address instead of
converting online to detector element
 	- Dave is adding an SVT hit-viewer to ced
 	- Gagik showed much progress on event building; in
particular PID code from track/FTOF matching to calculate
beta, momentum and thus, mass; and also track/PCAL matching
with cuts on energy deposited/ momentum to identify electrons

-VALIDATION SUITE:
 	- Olga and Justin have been making much progress on
the validation suite for tracking with plots of efficiency and
resolution versus various kinematic variable as well as other
global measures such as hits/track, tracks/event, ...
An apparent drop-off of efficiency with angle is being investigated;
it's probably due to a too-tight momentum-matching cut

-KALMAN FILTER:
 	- Veronique has made much progress on doing a wire-by-wire
Kalman filter for DC tracks; the state vector is x,y,theta_x,theta_y,q/p,
and the measurement vector is distance-of-closest-approach of the
track to the wire in question.  She's still debugging.

GEMC:
 	-Maurizio fixed the overlapping volumes problem that was
previously reported.  He is now mainly working on digitizing the
SVT ADC signals.

EC GEOMETRY DOCUMENT:
 	-Veronique reported that Jerry has completed the EC geometry
document.

FTOF GEOMETRY:
 	-Yelena and Lee are working on the GEMC-specific FTOF geometry.
They are fixing small discrepancies due to neglect of the small spaces
between slabs.
