Dear all,

Since this last week was solely dedicated to the review, we do not have a lot of new development to discuss this week. So tomorrow's meeting will be cancelled.

The review went well, thanks so much to all involved.
To summarize: all recent developments including common tools, user/developer involvement, simulation, event reconstruction and visualization were well received; we had a recommendation on data cataloguing and evaluations of optimal disk and tape usage.

Our plans for the near future are:
-- to continue doing the stress tests as software readiness and farm nodes availability permit. Thanks again Sebastian for the scaling studies.
-- the detector-specific reconstruction efforts led by different groups are ongoing and should be at an advanced stage soon.
-- to continue the development of the validation suite. Mac has started to look at the output of DC reconstruction and is coming up with the plots needed for validation and what will be useful for calibration as well.
-- to resume the study of the effect of running with both the solenoid and torus - each of which at a given fraction of their nominal design intensity. Thanks to Mauri, we can now run GEMC with both fields which can be scaled independently. Please check out the recent announcement on GEMC2.2 on the GEMC web page.
-- to optimize the Kalman filter, using swimmer. Dave added nice new features to swimmer that can be used by the Kalman filter.
-- to validate swimmer, a work which is undertaken by Krishna.
-- Gagik is working on the development of the calibration and validation common tools.
-- Ricardo and Sebastian are also working on a nice ClaRA web interface.

Let's resume with a status update next week.

Best,

Veronique.
