Hello All,
/work/clas12 is currently 100% full. Probably a much larger than normal volume of data was written in the past 24 hours, otherwise a daily cronjob would have sent an alert early yesterday morning.
Meanwhile, hopefully due to the Infiniband issues scicomp intends to address on Tuesday's maintenance day, /work/clas12 is also currently inaccessible from ifarm1901 and a ticket has been filed on that.
*** Please see if you have anything that can be cleaned up on /work/clas12 (via ifarm1801/2 until 1901 is fixed). And if you have data that should really be stored permanently, we should find an appropriate place for it on tape instead of /work.
*** There also appears to be data duplicated on /work that is also on tape. That shouldn't be, but instead use the /cache filesystem. For example /work/clas12/rg-a/montecarlo.
The weekly cronjob for this would normally run late tonight, but I generated a summary, attached, of all directory sizes sorted as of this morning. Also, there's the usual long list of directories and files occupying an unknown amount of space due to permissions at https://clasweb.jlab.org/clas12offline/disk/work/.
