[Clas12_software] Software Working Group Chair elections

Dear All,

As announced at the Collaboration meeting, I will be stepping down from the role of Software Coordinator and Working Group Chair at the beginning of September and we have to run the election for the new Chair.

A nominating committee formed by Christopher Dilks and Jerry Gilfoyle has been appointed to search for candidates for this role. The committee is tasked to provide a list of candidates by August 15, in order to run the election in the second half of August. The newly elected Chair will be in charge for three years, starting from the beginning of September. 

You can contact the committee providing your suggestions for potential candidates at the following email addresses: dilks at jlab.org and ggilfoyl at richmond.edu.
The proposed candidate should be a member of the Software Working Group and a Full member of the Collaboration. Similarly, the vote is restricted to members of the Working Group. The membership status of all collaborators can be checked in our phonebook at https://clasweb.jlab.org/membership/phonebookA.php.
