<div dir="ltr">Yo colleagues,<div><br></div><div>There is a new version of ced that you probably do NOT want to download. Yet.<br clear="all"><div><br></div><div>This version (0.99.02) works with HIPO data, not evio data. The cruel taskmasters who lead the Hall B software effort summarily decided to change formats. Evio has been deemed "sooooo last millennium." We little people have to go along.</div><div><br></div><div>When you are ready to "go Hipo" get any version of ced >= 0.99.02. That's assuming you want <i>any</i> version of ced.</div><div><br></div><div>Ced will not support evio going forward. Unless the cruel taskmasters are exceptionally cruel. As I understand it, evio will henceforth be used only for raw, undecoded crate-slot-channel data of which ced has no interest. All <i>decoded</i> data will be in Hipo. (Until it isn't. Can you say "BOS"?).</div><div><br></div><div>So new versions of ced support three and only three data sources: Hipo files, Hipo rings, and FastMC/Lund files. That is all. ced will not support four sources, and five is right out of the question.</div><div><br></div><div>The last evio ced is still available. As usual, you can get ced here:</div><div><br></div><div><img src="cid:ii_159c3267abdf0618" alt="Inline image 2" width="517" height="290"><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div>-- <br><div class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr">David P.
