<html><head><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"></head><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class="">Dear Adam,<div class="">The error you are getting is related to an update of DC calibration constants that was done on Tuesday: these constants are based on a new functional form for the time-to-distance function in time-baed tracking that was introduced in 6b.3.0 but is not supported in 6b.2.0. To solve the issue, you have different options:</div><div class="">- if you prefer to keep using 6b.2.0, you can use a “timestamp” in the yaml file that sets the Clara configuration to select the calibration constants that will be loaded; the timestamp will have to be set for the relevant services, DCHB and DCTB; you can find an example on the Jlab cluster at <span class="">/work/clas12/devita/clas12validation/clara-hipo4-richDev/plugins/clas12/config/data.yaml;</span></div><div class="">- you can switch to 6b.3.0 and use the default yaml file provided for real data processing, data.yaml, that is in $CLARA_HOME/plugins/clas12/config.</div><div class="">In both cases, when processing real data, you should start from the data.yaml file provided with the distribution instead of the default services.yaml used by Clara. The latter is in fact meant for Monte Carlo simulations. The yaml file to be used can be selected in the Clara options.</div><div class="">Let me know if you still encounter problems or need more information. We’ll update the documentation on this ASAP.</div><div class="">Best regards,</div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Raffaella<br class=""><div><br class=""><blockquote type="cite" class=""><div class="">On 25 Jul 2019, at 05:21, Adam HOBART <<a href="mailto:ajhobart@jlab.org" class="">ajhobart@jlab.org</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div class=""><meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=us-ascii" class=""><div style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; line-break: after-white-space;" class="">Dear Software experts,<div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Two days ago I was able to run Clara locally on my machine to cook HIPO files.
