[Clas12_verystrange] Virtual photon question

Hi,
I am rather new to virtual photons and have some questions regarding the
distribution of the virtual photons I should put in the event generator.
The meson proposal has the scattered electron angle from 2.5 to 4.5
degrees, and the energy of the scattered electron from 0.5 to 4.5 GeV,
using an incident electron beam energy of 11 GeV.
For the Pythia determined reactions, I simply set the limits of the
scattered electron, and Pythia figures out the distribution of the virtual
photons. However, for the predefined Omega- and Xi states I have to create
the virtual photon distribution, and I am not sure how best to do so.
It is most natural for me to use the above parameters as limits in
distributing the virtual photons. But need to know what type of
distribution to use. For example, the most naive way I could distribute
the virtual photons is to have them arise from scattered electrons that
are evenly distributed over an energy range of 0.5 to 4.5 GeV and evenly
in angles from 2.5 to 4.5 degrees. I would like to use the most realistic
distribution (within reason). Does someone have a suggestion? Also, there
are several ways the distribution can be parametrized. Is there a
preferred way that the parametrization should be done?
Thanks for your time.
Sincerely,
Michael
