[Clas12_verystrange] Figs 23-24

Hi,
As Mike points out it really needs a lot more simulation work to
improve the plots. Perhaps it should be decided at the phone meeting
whether this should be done or not, I will not be able to make it this
evening. For Fig. 23 perhaps the background histogram could be replaced
by a smooth fit or Mikes larger statistics histogram. For Fig.24 I do
not think it is worth the effort as the conclusion is the background is
negligible with the vertex cut.
One comment on the abstract, the numbers for Omega- is slightly
wrong, 8k instead of 6.9k estimated. But this number is for the case
where no Omega- decay products are detected and there is a large
background. In practise the cross section may have to be measured by
detecting either an additional pi- or K-, which should give a total of
around 2k events. I am not sure how much attention we want to bring to
this in the abstract, it seems the reviewer also did not pick up on
this, however a PAC reviewer may.
Cheers
Derek
