Hi Lei, 

I have been testing the detector simulation reconstruction using both generated data from Nathan and my own. Nathans little cheat sheet is quite useful and the work-chain seems to be working. One thing (that I pointed out during the collaboration as well) is the unit difference between the eviodump (MeV and mm) and the units inputed into GEMC (GeV and cm) — minor but still worth fixing for sake of consistency. It seems like the vertex read in GEMC is now fixed; this was a problem for older versions. 

When running the reconstruction on 5000 generated and GEMC-processed events there are two exemptions thrown on Nathan’s file (see plots here <https://userweb.jlab.org/~nicholas/NathansGeneratedFile.tiff>):

On my generated data this exception is thrown MANY many times —possibly for most of the event (it looks like Nathans data were generated at lower electron energies — i used 8GeV electron beams --(see plots here <https://userweb.jlab.org/~nicholas/MygeneratedFile8GeV.png>):).
I also generated data using a 4GeV beam (I am processing those events now). 

It also seems like I cant run the reconstruction on two evio files at the same time on my local machine — more exemptions are thrown. I will send another email soon, once I have more to show. I will try the same chain on ep—>ep scattering data. 
Sorry its taking longer than expected… GEMC and reconstruction is not very fast as you may know...

Will, maybe you know: How were the events generated that Nathan showed? My lund file looks OK (see here <https://userweb.jlab.org/~nicholas/HaspectGen.lund>).
