Folks, 

Since there won't be the first experiment meeting until September 13th, see below Latifa's message, 
there is no reason for additional meeting this week. We will have meeting at our regular time.

Dear all, 

There will be no meeting for the first experiment on 8/23, 8/30 and 9/6. We will resume our regular weekly meeting on 9/13. 

During these coming weeks we will focus on: 

    1. Implementation of the correct beamline: beam pipe & shielding from the CAD model, including additional optimization where it is still possible. There will be focused meeting on this topic together with the engineers on 8/24. 
    2. Determine the operating solenoid field for the first experiment to maximize science taking into account luminosity, acceptance and resolutions. 
    3. Producing new CLAS12 GEMC release by 9/13 
    4. Producing new CLAS12 CoatJava release, improved event reconstruction and event builder, by 9/13. 
    5. Finalizing the calibration procedures using calibration challenge and KPP data by 9/13 
    6. Final data processing of KPP data by 9/13 
    7. Preparation of the review: draft agenda produced and will be finalized and distributed on 8/24. 
    8. Preparation of the Pre-brief material as well as draft presentation for the CLAS12 Ready for Science Review. the material is due to be posted on 9/20 



The CLAS12 Ready for Science Review is scheduled for 9/24 & 9/25
