Hi Michael,
In case you are interested I produced a hipo to root convertor. It
can run in different modes:
Convert all hipo banks to root (each bank item -> vector<float or int>
branch in a root ttree)
- allhipo2root myfile.hipo
Convert some banks or items to root
- hipo2root some_root_config_script.C myfile.hipo
There is also the possibility to access hipo files directly in a root
enviroment using a THipoItem class
Plus there is a higher level convertor (using THipoItem) which produces
a tree branch = vector<THSParticles> where THSParticles contain
4-vector, vertex,...This requires some additional code which is part of
our overall mesonex framework which is under development.
The documentation for the Hipo-Root aspects can be found at
/work/clas12/mesonex/HIPO2ROOT.pdf
To test run you can just type
source /work/clas12/mesonex/clas12env.csh
allhipo2root myfile.hipo
But for more specific analysis you might be better copying the source
code (see documentation).
Cheers
Derek
