[Clas12_verystrange] Meeting minutes: FMT in or out?

Dear All,

At yesterday’s meeting, we discussed whether we want to keep FMT in or out. The consensus was that even though the vertex resolution might be somewhat impacted negatively by removing FMT, the effect is tolerable based on what we learned from prior simulations. However, keeping FMT in could impact the momentum (angles) resolutions (See Veronique’s talk at the software meeting last week) that likely would impact us more and result in more background that what we could gain from it. Therefore at this point we would tentatively support the proposal to not install FMT for the upcoming Fall run, at next weeks RGA meeting. However, this is based on the information we have up until yesterday. If anyone objects and has evidence/argument to suggest otherwise, please respond ASAP.
