Hi Achyut,

Great! So far all looks reasonable and as expected. Did you decay Lamda yourself or let geant do it?
Now, could you get from this Lambda mean life time to see if we get the right number.

Dear All,

I have produced couple of validation plots to check detached decay vertices of lambda in ep->ek+lambda; lambda->ppi- . Please find the attached presentation.

Thank you,
Achyut

Dear All,
As discussed, we tagged a coatjava release including the detached vertex package. The release is 6c.6.3 and is available in the common /group install, loading the corresponding coatjava module. Note that if you use a yaml file to define the reconstruction configuration, you should include the detached vertex package in the list. An example for reconstruction of RGA Fall2018 simulations is attached.

The output of the new package is saved in the new REC::VertDoca bank (see https://github.com/JeffersonLab/clas12-offline-software/blob/detachedVtx/etc/bankdefs/hipo4/event.json#L411).

Let us know if you encounter any problem.
Thanks a lot for your help with the validation of this package.
Best regards,
Raffaella
