Mauricio showed some simulation results for the impact of using FT (as shielding) on the DC occupancy. The conclusion seems to be that there is impact (increased occupancy), but manageable, and and FT should be part of the RG-A configuration from the beginning. The optimization of the FT shielding (positions, etc) is currently undergoing and probably will be ready by collaboration meeting and ready to be released so the whole (RG-A) collaboration will start simulation with FT.</div><div>They there is some discussion on centeral detectors.</div><div>Most relevant to us is that the engineering run (in the spring) will be 80+ days and some of those time can be used for low luminosity runs which are needed by the Meson group (and us). I think this is probably the time we should aim to help the most. Another relevant issue discussed is the trigger (with multi-hadron final state) for the Meson group (and again us). This would need more simulations. This is another area we should focus, in conjunction with the meson group. </div><div><br></div><div>Then there is some discussion about manpower related to software. All CLAS12 experiments spokesperson will soon be getting forms in terms of man power contributions to specific tasks, since it’s becoming critical (everything should be ready by the end of the year?) .</div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div><br></div><div>Lei</div><div> </div><div><div>
