Hi Lewis,
Thanks for all your hard work to put this note together. I only have a few
more comments/suggestions:
General: remove page breaks in the document, e.g. p 24, 28, 29.
Secion 4.8 Trigger efficiency (p. 21):
first paragraph: I am not sure we achieved 10^34 luminosity, and this
intensity would have to specify the range of photon energies which is not
included in the text. It is also unusual to quote a luminosity for photon
runs. I suggest, we give the typical photon flux collected in the tagged
range, and perhaps of interest is also the recorded photon flux in the
untagged range.
second paragraph p. 21: The discussion herer assumes that the trigger
correction for 4 tracks/3 sectors has been applied to the data, but this
correction has not been described previously. You should move the second
paragraph till after the last paragraph on page 22 and merge the two.
[They contain similar content, so some editing will be necessary.]
Summary: Describe the trigger correction (and how it was obtained) for the
4 track/3 sectors using Lambda K pi-, which can be used for corrections
to the Phi-- data. Then describe the correction for the 3 track/3 sector
p pi+pi- data.
p. 22 last paragraph seems to be cut off before figure?
p. 25. Paragraph on G11 trigger correction. The text should give the
typical value of the correction. In the table it is given as <9%, but I
thought I remember a 20% correction. Is this one correct?
p. 26 Table.
Under trigger efficiency mapping:
What does mapping mean? (eliminate?)
Give the typical value for the eg3 correction, and check the value for
g11.
p. 29 second sentence:
"We chose to compare to G1 data that COVERS ENERGIES UP TO 4.7 GeV, which
EXTENDS into..."
p. 29 second paragraph, comment:
Open and closed symbols are inverted in most of the figures after Fig. 20.
It is generally a good idea to keep the labeling consistent.
p. 35 table 3
Remove horizontal line between first and second line of title.
Cheers, Elton.
