[Clas_cascades] Meeting tomorrow at 10:00 am (fwd) - short notes

Short note of the meeting -
Lewis on the phone
Kijun, Hovanes, and Stepan at JLAB
- Lewis presented a new results on the cross sections. He found some
additional
factor accidentally left in the script when last time data were shown
after the tagger
correction. That was the reason of having higher (~30%) cross section.
After fixing
that and running analysis (on ~50% of data) he now had consistent
results. Lewis's
new comparison of old-stile eg3 analysis and the new results were quite
consistent.
in the new analysis, for events with multiple photons he studied
kinematical cuts with
each photon and if any of photon passed cuts he used that. The new and
old results
coincide with each other quite well in the region of energy <4. For
higher energies
the new results are some what lower. Next week he will have the full
statistics.

- Kijun studied the difference between multi-photon correction factor in
g11 for runs
with different end point energy. After removing kinematic cuts, he got
close number
for both end point energy runs, 17-23% correction, that is consistent
with g11 analysis.
He mentioned that there is some small run-by-run difference for this
correction.
- Lewis mentioned that Ralf has a conflict with this meeting time,
Wednesday 10am.
We should find some solution to this.
Regards, Stepan
