[Clas_cascades] Feedback to Reply to Committee

Hi Zhiwen,

It looks like you have done a fairly complete job of replying to the 
committee members point by point. I have a few comments for clarifying 
the text. In particular, the new paragraph on the "trigger condition" 
(p. 2 section 2.1) is referenced very often and could still use improvement.

Section 2.1 Trigger Condition.

You may wish to add the clarification early in the paragraph: All data 
included the ST condition in the sector-based trigger. The data runs 
after Christmas added the summed ST signal into the asynchronous input also.

1. You use the word "Beside" at least twice, which means "next to". You 
really beam "Besides", meaning "In addition to". In this context, I 
would substitute the word "beside" for "In addition to....", to help 
clarify your statements, as follows:
"In addition to the events with 4 tracks in at least 3 sectors, other 
topologies were studied that had 4 tracks in 4 sectors and 3 tracks in 3 
sectors, but their normalization yieldS are not included in this note. 
[You could reference the pentaquark analysis note] These three 
topologies have very similar features. The trigger bit 6 events without 
ST in the trigger show larger efficiency than those with with the ST in 
the trigger. The trigger bit 5 events show a larger efficiency than 
trigger bit 6 events and showed little sensitivity to the ST input. We 
note, however, that the insensitivity of trigger bit 5 to the ST was 
special for the Lambda event sample, and not generally true for other 
channels.

p. 4 Section 3.2
What does "the eg3 run photon energy reach 1.15 GeV" mean?

p.5 answer to question 1)
The trigger time window " but was not found in record unfortunately". 
Are you sure we do not know this parameter? Perhaps Hovanes can comment 
on this. Which trigger time window is referred to? We should try to get 
a number for this.
