Hi Dave,
nice overview. A couple of comments:
- in your slide 10 (starting from zero) I would rather define the last
energy region as "very high momentum transfer (pQCD)" instead of
"perturbative QCD"
- is the cross section at the bottom-right corner of slide 13
differential also in the variables of the Lambda decay products ? I have
seen it in other presentations but I find it confusing as normally we
think of dSigma/dOmega as just a two-body differential cross section; I
think it is better to use the notation from the original paper of
Barker, Donnachie and Storrow, 1975 (formula 13), where the spin density
matrix of the recoiling baryon times the cross section is decomposed in
its various pieces by using explicit Pauli matrices: in my opinion it is
also easier to explain to a broader audience
- by having one or more explanatory slides like N. 13 with the above
modifications, you may not need slide 12, which is not so immediate to
grasp as opposed to slides like N. 13
