Hi Ken,

This looks like a nice talk. Thanks for sending around your slides. One concern I have is that this is a 15 minute talk, and you have a lot of slides. Do you think it might be better to shorten some of the technical parts of your talk?

One other thought I had was that this will be a very diverse crowd at this conference (based on the list of talks shown on the conference website) from a lot of different sub-disciplines in nuclear physics. To some of these people, the importance of searching for N* resonances may not be clear. For those people, will your summary slide leave them feeling that this work is important? (Of course, this work is important, but perhaps you could convey that message in stronger terms?)

These are just a few suggestions, and I'm sure you will give a good presentation.

Best regards,
Ken

Subject: [Clas_hadron] Talk to be given at Rutherford Centennial Conference

Hi All,

I'm giving a 15min talk in a parallel session at talk at the Rutherford
Centennial Conference in Manchester, England (8-12 Aug).

The title is
Recent progress in N* physics from Kaon photoproduction experiments at
CLAS using polarization observabes.

The presentation is at
http://nuclear.gla.ac.uk/~kl/talks/Rutherford_2011/Livingston_Rutherford_2011_v2.ppt

I'd appreciate any feedback.

Regards,
Ken Livingston
