Hello,

I plan to submit and abstract for the June Conference on the Intersections of Particle and Nuclear Physics. The abstract is at
http://www.jlab.org/Hall-B/secure/hadron/abstracts/2012/CIPANP2012_Collins.pdf

Here is the LaTeX of the abstract:
The excitation spectrum of the proton is comprised of many broad overlapping resonances. One tool in helping understand the spectrum is $\omega$
meson photoproduction from the proton. Because this mesons has isospin 0, this channels can be seen as an ``isospin filter'' for the nucleon
resonance spectrum. Differential cross section data have been the primary tool used to study this channel. The CLAS FROST running period using
circularly polarized photons on a longitudinally polarized butanol target allowed for the extracton of helicity asymmetry in $\omega$ meson
photoproduction from the proton. Our analysis aims for providing constraints on the coupling of baryon resonances to this channel. There has
been no published helicity asymmetry measurements for $\omega$ meson photoproduction from the proton. This data will provide better constraints
for the presence of $N^\ast$($I$=$\frac{1}{2}$) production in this channel, providing further insight into the nucleon excitation spectrum,
where ``missing'' resonance states are of particular interest.

If you have any comments let me know,
Patrick Collins
