Hello Dave,
Looking through your slides, I have a few comments.
1) On page 22 you are showing the work I published with Misak about
scaling and resonances in K Lambda. I do not conclude that we are "at
odds with coupled-channels results from Bonn-Gatchina". The D13(2100)
we identify is in agreement with the 3/2^- state you list on slide 21.
They agree within errors, and to me it is remarkable that this
previously nebulous state has been seen in two recent K Lambda analyses.
It is also the case that the BoGa analysis split the 3/2^- strength
into two states, one at 2150 and the other at 1875, but we'll see if
that survives. The P13(1920) that we identify is in agreement with the
BoGa state at N(1900) 3/2^+, within errors. Thus, I think there is now
a consensus that the "bump" at about 1.9 GeV in K Lambda is dominantly
in P-wave. Even Terry Mart says that now.
The other thing to mention about this analysis is that the resonance
structure emerges for easy viewing after *scaling* the cross section by
s^7. This technique has not been exploited much and may deserve a
mention. This might be more relevant to put on the slide than the cross
section formula you have now.
2) When I look at the first few slides about electroproduction, the work
by Carman et al., the axes are kind of fuzzy. Perhaps get better
resolution versions.
3) You have 34 slides to present in 25 minutes. I have the same problem
in my talk. Do you plan to cut some things, or just talk fast?
Cheers,
Reinhard
