Hi Reinhard,

Many of these slides we've seen before, so I'll focus on the newer material. On Slide 31, I'm confused by the labeling. The top plot says 0.504 < cos(th) < 0.554 and the bottom plot says 0.5 < cos(th) < 0.55, but is this really correct? The fits look too different to have a mostly overlapping cut on cos(th). Similar for the fits on slide 32.

In answer to the question at the bottom, one of my students (Taya Chetry) will be giving a contributed talk on April 12. His slides are already done, and I'll ask him to post them on the CLAS website and send a message around.

Best regards,
Ken

Subject: [Clas_hadron] Draft talk on (d pi pi) channel for APS meeting

Hello Hadron Spectroscopists,

I will give an invited talk one week from today at the April APS meeting
in Baltimore. The title is "Photoproduction of Structure in the d pi
System Near the N Delta Mass: Sign of a Quasi-Bound State?" The talk is
a general introduction to the issue of two-baryon quasi-bound states,
and then specifically shows the effects we have seen in the g13 data for
gamma d --> d pi pi. Paul Mattione and I have shown you this at two
collaboration meetings last year, and we have made considerable progress
since. The draft slides can be seen at

https://www.jlab.org/Hall-B/secure/hadron/presentations/2015/APS_Schumacher_April_2015.pdf

Any comments welcome, of course. By the way, is anyone else giving a
CLAS spectroscopy talk at this conference? I see no other draft talks
or abstracts posted.

Sincerely,
Reinhard
