From bgual001 at fiu.edu Wed Oct 22 16:26:28 2025 From: bgual001 at fiu.edu (Bianca Gualtieri) Date: Wed, 22 Oct 2025 20:26:28 +0000 Subject: [Clas_hadron] [EXTERNAL] APS April Meeting Abstract Message-ID: Dear all, I am planning to submit an abstract for a presentation at the 2026 APS April Meeting on my analysis of cascades in RG-K data and would greatly appreciate any feedback you may have on my current draft, which I have attached. Please note that the abstract references preliminary cross section results; these results will be presented at the upcoming collaboration meeting. Before finalizing my APS presentation, I will circulate the talk to the hadron group for additional input. The abstract looks fine to me. I will also be glad to include your presentation in the upcoming CLAS Collaboration meeting program, in the hadron spectroscopy working group session. I would kindly invite you to present your analysis at the next RG-K meeting in October 29th. Thank you for your attention and contribution All the best Annalisa -------- Messaggio Inoltrato -------- Oggetto: [clas_members] [EXTERNAL] Update regarding the CLAS November meeting Data: Fri, 10 Oct 2025 21:15:04 +0000 Mittente: Bryan McKinnon via clas_members Rispondi-a: Bryan McKinnon A: CLAS MEMBERS , Hall-B Dear collaborators Further to the email I sent on Wednesday regarding the risk to the November CLAS meeting, the CCC met today to discuss. After giving full consideration to the situation and the options, we concluded that given the continued uncertainty surrounding the ability for JLab to host, the need to provide each of you clarity and certainty, and a wish to continue to showcase our work, the meeting will be transitioned to *online only*. Not meeting in person to discuss our work and business is of course very disappointing, but we hope to make the best of the remote meeting. To that end, the meeting dates will remain the same 18 - 21 November but the agenda will be focussed purely on our physics. Each day will be shorter in length and we will construct a schedule which will respect the timezones of the majority of our institutes. More details to follow as we reshape and plan the new agenda. If you wish to present an update of your analysis, you should reach out to your Working Group chair as soon as possible. Within those calls we continue to encourage early stage analyses by students and post-docs to request a presentation slot as well as analyses which are more mature. This was not the news I hoped to be delivering, but now at least with the certainty of this decision we can look forward to meeting and the presentations of the great physics outputs we produce. CLAS/CLAS12 spectroscopists, I have been invited to give a talk on thehighlights of the CLAS/CLAS12 spectroscopy programat theBARYON2025conference, scheduled for mid-November in South Korea. I would greatly appreciate it if you could send meone (maximum two) slidessummarizing recent highlights from your analyses or publications. If your results are unpublished, please includeonly well-established and mature analysis outcomes. As usual, plots from unpublished work should be clearly marked as/?preliminary.?/ Each slide should provide a brief description of thephysics caseaddressed and theresults obtained. Please send your slides *by****November 2*, so I can include your material (with proper credit, of course!) in the presentation. Thank you very much in advance for your cooperation.
