[Clas_lmd] GHP 2017: first circular

Dear Colleagues,

this is the first circular of the
7th Workshop of the APS Topical Group on Hadronic Physics (GHP2017)
which will be held 1-3 February 2017 in Washington, DC.

The GHP workshop provides a great opportunity for nuclear and particle 
physicists
to meet and discuss their common interests  in hadronic interactions. The
topics of the workshop include:

    Light- and heavy-quark mesons & baryons
    Exotic hadrons
    Hadron tomography and hadronization
    QCD effects in nuclei
    EFT approaches in hadron physics
    Lattice QCD and other non-perturbative approaches
    Physics of the quark-gluon plasma
    Physics of gluon saturation
    Future facilities


The scientific program will consist of invited talks,
contributed talks and posters and is organized by
the program committee:

The workshop will take place at the Marriott Wardman Park hotel.
A block of rooms has been reserved for workshop participants.

Online registration will open soon.

GHP2017 is a separate meeting from the APS Spring meeting 2017, and has 
a separate registration fee. There are discounts
for GHP members:
Regular: $100 ($120 for non-members)
Students: $20 ($40 for non-members)

Social Dinner:
------------------
There will be a social dinner at restaurant Lillies, 2915 Connecticut 
Ave Nw, *Washington*, *DC *20008, within walking distance of the venue.
The cost of the dinner is $50/person.  Payments must be made during 
registration.
