My heartfelt regrets.  

Barry was an excellent collaborator and I always enjoyed hearing his
insightful discussions about physics and other matters.  Just yesterday I
was referring to some of his work in photo-nuclear reactions as seminal and
very important. We have lost a great human being and an excellent physicist.


Please convey my condolences to his family and to all our colleagues.
