Hello,
I just got back from the INT advisory committee meeting and there was some
discussion of (1) whether JLab physics was being sufficiently represented
and (2) if the JLab community FELT that it wasn't being sufficiently
represented and was therefore discouraged from submitting proposals. I was
hoping that you could bring up the topic, either at group meetings or
informally with individual, and/or let people know that I'm interested in
seeing what people at JLab think about this.
There certainly have been JLab related programs and workshops over the
last few years, but perhaps fewer than one might expect, and I've
certainly come across concern that JLab wasn't being well represented.
So from both the INT and the JLab Users Board point of view, I though it
would be good to get opinions on how users felt about our representation.
Thanks for your assistance,
John
