[clas_members] travel support for students/postdocs

Dear CLAS members,

Jefferson Lab has kindly provided about $4000 total of travel support for graduate students or postdocs who plan to attend the next CLAS Collaboration meeting in Glasgow.  I invite students or postdocs who plan to attend the meeting to send an email directly to me at hicks at ohio.edu<mailto:hicks at ohio.edu>.  The amount of the support will depend on the number of applicants, but will be a minimum of $500.

Note that travel support may also be available from the JSA travel fund, which is managed by Marco Battaglieri and his committee.  I believe those funds are primarily for conference travel, but some people may stay for the Baryons2013 conference after the collaboration meeting.  Please contact Marco if you have questions.

To faculty advisors: if your student or postdoc is considering the possibility of attending the meeting in Glasgow, I suggest that you encourage them to apply.  Please do so at the earliest opportunity, as the funds could be exhausted quickly.
