Hi Hall Leaders,
This is a reminder to remind the graduate students in your halls to submit
a poster at the Annual User's Meeting Poster Competition on June 2, 2014.
It a chance for them to show off their work and also valuable practice in
explaining what they are working on. The students have a chance to win
money with a first prize of $1000, a second prize of $500, and a third
prize of $250. The deadline for poster competition abstracts is Friday,
May 23rd, 2014 and abstracts should be sent to Lorelei (lorelei at jlab.org).
It is also a nice addition to a resume if they win. I hope you will urge
them to do a poster if they will around during that time. If you or they
have any questions, you can email Lorelei or me at any time.
