many of you know Lothar Tiator as the main initiator/author of MAID that 
many in the CLAS collaboration have used. Lothar is retiring and  if you 
have the chance you may want to thank Lothar in various ways, as shown 
in the attached email below.

If you don't have a chance to sign the card or make a donation in 
person, you may want to send Lothar an email thanking him for his 
dedicated work on behalf and to the benefit of the hadron community.

Liebe Kollegen und Kolleginnen,

wie viele bereits schon wissen, tritt am Ende September Lothar Tiator in 
den Ruhestand. Seine Abschiedsrede hält er am 23.10. um 14 Uhr im 
Hörsaal der Kernphysik.
Das wollen wir gern feierlich ausklingen lassen und dabei eine Karte und 
Abschiedsgeschenk überreichen.
Ab heute und bis 13. Oktober befindet sich in der KPH-Verwaltung eine 
Karte, die gern unterschrieben werden will sowie eine Spendebox, die 
gefuttert werden kann.
Bei Fragen, wenden Sie sich an mich oder an Frau Dietz bzw. Frau Hammer 
in der Verwaltung.

Dear colleagues,

As many of you already know, Lothar Tiator will be retiring at the end 
of September. He will give his farewell lecture on Oct. 23rd at 2 pm in 
the KPH Hörsaal.
A small celebration will follow the speech during which we plan to 
present a card and a farewell gift.
Starting today and continuing until October 13th, a card is waiting in 
the KPH administration office for signatures. There is also a donation 
box which would love to be fed.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, Ms. Dietz or Ms. 
Hammer in administration.
