[clas_members] [EXTERNAL] CLAS12 software tutorial on April 23

Dear Collaborators,
As announced at the recent Collaboration meeting, we plan to have a software tutorial in the next weeks to replace the software workshop we usually have during the collaboration meeting week.

The proposed date/time for the software tutorial is April 23 from 10 am to noon EDT. The tutorial will be accessible via BlueJeans.

The tutorial will cover the following topics:
- Using Jlab computing resources (How to setup the common environment at Jlab, use modules, etc, and how to use scicomp pages to monitor farm jobs);
- How to use docker containers for gemc and submit CLAS12 simulation jobs at the OSG;
- How to use clas12root for data analysis.

In addition to the topics above, we would like to invite all of you to propose additional topics you would like the tutorial to cover, both on computing, using CLAS12 offline software, browse data and do analysis. If you are. Interested in proposing a topic, please send your suggestions replying to this email by Friday April 10.
