[clas_members] Volunteers are needed and Instructions/responsibilities for new Hall B/CLAS12 day/swing worker "ghost" shifts

Dear all,

We expect CEBAF to start beam delivery for physics on July 27. Hall-B will continue the RG-F run that was interrupted on March 24. The conditions that we will continue RG-F will most likely be the same as we stopped it in March - JLAB in MEDCON-5 or 4 and restrictions for domestic and international travels. Therefore, the Hall-B will exercise a limited shift staffing plan as we had before the shutdown in March. We will have only shift experts present in the counting room during the day and swing shifts, from 7 am to 11 pm. The owl shift will be manned as per our COO, expert and a worker. We will not use regular CLAS shift scheduling instead we are relying on collaborators who are “local” (close by) and can travel to JLAB for shifts.

With this email, I am asking the institutional representatives and collaborators stationed locally to send an email to me and Bryan with the names of people who are available to take shifts from July 27 to September 6, 2020. We will create a list of shifters then generate a shift schedule accordingly. These are challenging times and we need everyone’s help to succeed.
