Dear collaborators, dear colleagues,

First we would like to thank all the people who took the time to fill the survey. However there are too few participants to get solid conclusions out of it for the moment. Therefore we kindly invite you to fill the survey. Before reminding the main information about this survey, here are a few clarifications:
1) the less experienced in Machine Learning, the better: The survey offers all explanation to answer and we want to evaluate the expectations of the physics community in general.

2) Open to all: From PhD students to professor. We want to understand expectations and criteria to evaluate Machine learning algorithms of today's and tomorrow's physicists.

3) There is no wrong answer: The worst case is to have too few participants which is today's situation. You have the knowledge to fill it and any answer is a valuable information for our study.


We remind you that this survey is declined in two parts, independent from each other. You will have to choose a keyword so that we can associate the two parts you filled. This keyword will be asked at the beginning of each survey.

We estimate that each part takes about 30 minutes to complete, so do not hesitate to postpone the filling of the second part to an other day after you finished the first one. Part 2 comprises an interesting comparison between different methods which concludes this study, so we encourage you to go all the way through the survey.
