Good evening,

I wish I would have better news.  The ND3 material does not look good to be used as of now. We will look into various options for the future. For now, the decision has been made to remain in restricted access until tomorrow morning. Tomorrow morning load NH3 material and take data over the long weekend if/whenever beam is available.
We are ramping superconducting magnets down.
Swing and Owl shifts tonight are canceled. Day shift tomorrow should report as scheduled.

Good morning,

Here is the status update for this morning. The target was reassembled yesterday and cooled down overnight. Now it is at 1K. The target group is getting ready to load ND3 and try to polarize it. If this is successful we will put back on the cart raster magnets and restore the upstream beamline. If everything goes well we hope that we can lock up the hall sometime on the Swing shift today.

The Day shift today is canceled. Swing shift and all following shifts should report to the counting-house as scheduled.
I will send an update if anything changes.

The target work continues Today. We hope this work will be completed tomorrow and the experiment will get back on track.
Tomorrow's Day shift is on standby. Swing shift reports to the counting-house as scheduled.

Here is the latest update on shifts.

All shifts today and Owl and Day shifts tomorrow are canceled. Tomorrow's Swing and Thursday's Owl are on stanby.

Here is an update. The target warmed up overnight and the target group is working on repairs. If things go well they hope to start cooling down sometime this afternoon.

Today's Swing and tomorrow's Owl shift are canceled. Tomorrow's Day shift is on standby.
