Dear Collaborators,
It has come to my attention that there is a new electrical safety training required for nearly all users and staff that may be working with electronics. This includes things as simple as plugging in a LEMO connector. A quote from our conduct of operations (COO) document: "Prior to doing work on a piece of electronics equipment, beyond just plugging it in and turning it on/off, you are required to take Basic Electrical Safety for Electrical Workers (ESC001)."
Upcoming Training:
March 8th, 2024 - 9-10:30am: https://misportal.jlab.org/training/classes/117474
List of future trainings: https://misportal.jlab.org/training/courses/30945
The training is done live with an instructor via Microsoft Teams or Zoom and lasts for around an hour. Afterwards there is a quiz.
Best regards,
-Will
